This residence is typically granted to students enrolled in an educational programme in Portugal, such as post-degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD, with a duration exceeding 12 months, in a Portuguese University or equivalent.
This can also include preparatory courses for such studies or mandatory training within the chosen program.
The duration of the residence permit will be equivalent to the education program.
